I took a little sabbatical from photography (besides the dogs), but a recent return trip to the island of Kaua'i has sparked my photography bug once again. With such beauty, who could resist. We had a fabulous time sunbathing, snorkeling, hiking, off-roading, and zip-lining. It was an awesome adventure and I'm thrilled that I have returned home with a plethora of photographs to remember it by. All of these pics were taken during an 11 mile hike overlooking the Na Pali Coast. The best part, it's inaccessible by automobiles. If you want to see it, you must hike, boat, or see it by helicopter (whose noise tainted the experience by the way!). I'll post some unfinished panoramic images later this week so you can get a better feel of the expanse of the the mountains here. Any who, I hope you enjoy!

Wonder how I got these shots...by scaling a 4000 ft high, 1.5 wide trail. Yeah, it was a tad scary and maybe a little bit stupid but it was a lot a bit FUN!!!!
